The bidding announcement for the design and construction of the municipal art museum and concert hall of Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, was released on June 14.
According to the announcement, Jinhua will make use of about 2.67 hectares of land to build its art museum and concert hall, with a total construction area of about 50,600 square meters.
The buildings will be located south of Yitong Road, west of Jingshi Road, east of Jingjiu Road, and north of Wujiang West Road in Wucheng district.
They are expected to become landmarks of Jinhua and showcase the city's work in promoting the construction of public cultural facilities. They will serve art collections and music-related performances and focus on urban culture, education, leisure and entertainment.
The art museum and concert hall are expected to bring more artists and musicians to Jinhua to provide local people with high-level cultural and artistic enjoyment.
