​Pan'an acts to promote tourism

Pan'an county, Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, revealed various measures to support tourism recovery, as the COVID-19 epidemic has been waning in recent days.

The county decided to reward villages and towns developing all-for-one tourism during a meeting promoting the construction of a national all-for-one tourism demonstration county on June 2.

A total of 9.7 million yuan ($1.45 million) in rewards were given to 10 national 3A-level scenic villages, one national 3A-level scenic spot, six graded homestays, two cultural homestays and four scenic towns.

Tourism has become a key industry of Pan'an as it seeks to achieve rural vitalization. In 2021, a total of 2.9 million domestic tourists visited Pan'an, a year-on-year increase of 11.12 percent. The total domestic tourism revenue increased by 17.50 percent year-on-year to more than 4.69 billion yuan.

In 2022, Pan'an has released two rounds of tourism coupons amounting to 6 million yuan. With the coupon, people are able to pay 1 yuan each to visit local scenic areas including Baizhangtan scenic area, Shibawo scenic area, and Huaxi scenic area.
