Jinhua to build new industrial park for digital economy

Construction started on the industrial park of Zhejiang Woshua Information Technology Co in the Dongyang Economic Development Zone in Jinhua on June 2.

With more than 1 billion yuan ($150.45 million) in total investment, the industrial park, including production lines for payment terminals of POS equipment, will cover 6.88 hectares south of Provincial Highway 211 and east of Shangdong Road.

The industrial park will be built in two phases. The first phase is expected to achieve an operating income of 3.72 billion yuan with tax revenue of more than 42 million yuan, and a total of 4.5 million sets of payment terminals will be produced annually.

Zhejiang Woshua Information Technology Co is a software development company focusing on the research and development of third-party payment platforms for customers. In 2019, the company opened in the Dongyang Economic Development Zone.

The company was established by Jin Xianghua, a native of Jinhua. With the new industrial park, Jin said he expects his company to help support the development of the city's digital economy.
