Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province hosted culture and tourism promotion events in Ningbo and Huzhou on May 20-21.
Workers from popular tourist attractions in Jinhua recommended views and activities there through words and videos. These scenic areas are also being promoted via newspapers, TV programs and outdoor advertising in Ningbo and Huzhou.
Many residents in Ningbo and Huzhou showed interest in visiting tourist attractions in Jinhua such as the Shuanglong scenic area and Niutou Mountain and trying local delicacies.
Various discounts are being offered as well - for groups of 16 or more people, a subsidy of 30 yuan ($4.5) will be given to each person who makes purchases over over 40 yuan in the urban area of Jinhua.
In addition, medical workers can visit tourist attractions in Jinhua for free with valid certificates.
