Markets in Jinhua reopen after Spring Festival

The Yiwu International Trade Market in Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province reopened to receive orders on Feb 12 after the Spring Festival holiday, local media reported on Feb 13.

For example, on the first day of reopening, every salesman at Zhejiang Yesheng Polymer Technology Co Ltd in the Yiwu International Trade Market received some orders.

In 2021, the average daily flow of people into the Yiwu International Trade Market was 122,400, 93 percent of shops were operational and over 98 percent of stores in the market were rented out. The online platform Chinagoods fostered more than 10,000 active merchants with more than 5 million types of goods and achieved over 16 billion yuan ($2.51 billion) in transactions.

In addition, the Yongkang China Technology Hardware Market and Dongyang Huayuan Mahogany Furniture Market have been experiencing a peak in sales after reopening.

This year, the Dongyang Huayuan Mahogany Furniture Market will continue to use the online shopping platform to attract consumers, integrating the internet with the physical market, said Yan Xu, chairman of the mahogany furniture market.
