More than 40 foreign teachers and students from Jinhua Polytechnic are staying in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province for Spring Festival, local media reported on Jan 23.

Jinhua Polytechnic organized a series of traditional Spring Festival activities, which includes writing Spring Festival couplets and pasting Chinese character fu (福, meaning good fortune) wall hangings.

Twenty-two foreign students from Rwanda, Ethiopia, Burundi and other countries now live in the international student apartment on campus.
During the Spring Festival, canteen on campus will operate as usual. A special kitchen was set up in the apartment for foreign students to use, taking into consideration their eating habits.
In addition, foreign teachers and students at the school have joined the volunteer team to help with pandemic prevention and control work on campus.
The positive response and cooperation of foreign teachers and students also strengthened everyone's confidence and determination to defeat the pandemic, said the person in charge of the Department of International Cooperation at Jinhua Polytechnic.
