Zhejiang Hengdian Film Co Ltd in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province produced 15 films that achieved a cumulative box office revenue of 10.85 billion yuan ($1.71 billion) in 2021, accounting for 23 percent of the national box office takings.
According to statistics from the China Film Administration, the nation's total box office revenue in 2021 reached 47.25 billion yuan. Specifically, domestic films generated 39.92 billion yuan in revenue, 84.49 percent of the total.
According to a Chinese film audience satisfaction survey conducted by the China Film Research Center and Endata, the top five films of 2021 in terms of audience satisfaction are all related to Hengdian.

My Country, My Parents, which was co-produced by Hengdian Film Co, and Hi, Mom by Hengdian Film Co were ranked second and fourth respectively.
The Battle at Lake Changjin, Pioneer and 1921, which were shot in Hengdian World Studios, were ranked first, third and fifth respectively.
In addition, My Sister, produced by Hengdian Film Co, and Cloudy Mountain, which was co-produced by Hengdian Film Co, were ranked 11th and 16th respectively in the list.
