Jinyi new district in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, has offered incentives to non-local employees who remain in Jinhua for Spring Festival holiday, local media reported on Jan 17.
An allowance of 600 yuan ($94.43) will be given to each non-local employee of enterprises above designated size, construction general contracting enterprises with secondary qualification or above and agricultural leading enterprises in Jinhua who remain in Jinhua for Spring Festival holiday and who have paid their social insurance for December in Jinyi new district.
Each enterprise in the area with industrial operating revenue of more than 5 million yuan in the first quarter of 2021 and 10 percent or more in year-on-year growth in the first quarter of 2022 will be rewarded 10,000 yuan.
A subsidy of 100 yuan per person per day, with up to 800 yuan total per person, will be given to non-local employees who work in Jinyi new district from Jan 26 to Feb 10 and who have paid their social insurance for December in the area.
In addition, from Feb 1 to 28, enterprises that recruit non-local employees and pay their pension insurance for the first time in Jinhua for more than 3 months will be given a recruitment subsidy of 1,000 yuan per person.
