Yongkang, a county-level city administered by Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province reported one new COVID-19 case on Jan 5.
The person has been transferred to a designated hospital under closed-loop management. All close contacts have also been placed under quarantine.
According to investigators, the person had been to Jindong district and the Jinhua development area.
The 7,343 residents in Jindong district where the infected person had visited have been tested for the virus. As of 1:51 am on Jan 6, all residents had tested negative for the virus, according to the local authorities.
The Chen village and the Zengjie Weighing Apparatus Factory where the infected person lives and works have been placed under closed-loop management to prevent the spread of the disease.
