The 26th China Hardware Fair kicked off at the Yongkang International Convention and Exhibition Center – in Yongkang, a county-level city administered by Jinhua, in East China's Zhejiang province – on Oct 25.

A total of 1,469 enterprises applied to participate in the expo, up six percent year-on-year. Of these, 1,198 businesses received standard booths and 271 enterprises got special stands – involving a total floor space of over 17,000 square meters.
For the first time the fair had a dedicated hardware boutique exhibition area covering 800 sq m – attracting 1,672 domestic enterprises from more than 20 provinces and cities, as well as leading international brands from the US, Germany, Spain and from other countries and regions.

Yongkang city has an estimated 136,000 business entities, more than 52,000 enterprises and more than 1,000 manufacturers above a designated size – companies with annual main business revenue of 20 million yuan ($3.1 million) and above. Its hardware products are sold to 194 countries and regions around the world.
