The Jinyi Free Trade Center – located in the Jinyi new district (Jindong district) of Jinhua city, in East China's Zhejiang province – is expected to be completed and to open before the end of October.

The first phase of the project covers an area of about 28 mu (1.9 hectares), while the main construction involves two pavilions and one hall. The main building is said to be shaped like a whale leaping out of the sea.
On completion, the project is widely expected to be seen as a landmark achievement in the construction of Jinyi Sector of the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone, a new highland for international investment and trade services, as well as an intelligent innovation base for leading industries and enterprises.
