Wuju Opera is an ancient Chinese operatic form commonly known as Jinhua Opera. It is said to be a unique Chinese cultural treasure and was added to the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2008.
There are more than 500 traditional repertoires in Wuju Opera and its vocal music system is extensive. Wuju opera also has its own characteristics – with its makeup, costumes and props quite unique.
