The Jinhua People's Hospital – located in Jinhua city in East China's Zhejiang province – was established in 1942 and it is now a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, scientific research, teaching and rehabilitation.
It was among the first batch of teaching hospitals for medical colleges established in Zhejiang province.
The hospital has six disciplines that have been awarded with the title of municipal key disciplines. They are obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine, hepatic, pancreatic and gastrointestinal surgery, hematology, urology and anesthesia operation.
The hospital has 2,000 beds and 1,300 of them have been opened to the public. It has 37 disciplines and 36 wards.
