Wu Han

Wu Han (1909-1969), originally known as Chun Han, was from Shangxi town, Yiwu city. Wu was a well-known historian and an expert on the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). He successively held the positions of professor at Tsinghua University and vice-mayor of Beijing. He wrote several books, including Mirror of History, Story of Zhu Yuanzhang and Story of Spring. His former residence was designated as a cultural relic protection site by Zhejiang province in 2005.
