China Jiliang University (CJLU) is the only university in China dedicated to metrology, standardization, quality supervision, inspection and quarantine.

Located in the picturesque city of Hangzhou, CJLU is graced with an elegant campus environment and superior study conditions. It boasts 2.3 million paper books and instruments and pieces of equipment worth 420 million yuan ($66.44 million). CJLU has 52 undergraduate majors, covering nine discipline categories of engineering, science, management, law, literature, economics, medicine and pharmacology, agronomy and art. CJLU has 19 colleges (departments) and one independent college. To serve 15,116 undergraduates and 1,496 graduates studying full time on campus, and 5,800 undergraduates in the independent college, CJLU has a faculty of 1,276 full-time teachers, of whom 683 have senior professional titles.

CJLU has two shared academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, two teachers selected in the Recruitment Program of Global Experts, and one winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

CJLU has 21 scientific research platforms of provincial, ministry and above levels, including the National Center for Quality Inspection, the Engineering Center under the Ministry of Education, and the National-Local Joint Engineering Laboratory. Having undertaken over 700 national, provincial and ministry projects during the past five years, the university has won two second prizes of the national technological invention awards, and another 48 awards including the first prize for outstanding achievements in scientific research given by the Ministry of Education.

CJLU has established partnership with 46 universities and research institutes in such countries as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, Japan, the South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
