Labubu and friends bring loads of fun to Shanghai carnival

Labubu, Zimomo and Mokoko... The beloved IP characters of Chinese pop culture giant Pop Mart have come to Shanghai in the form of interactive games and themed desserts.

As the first stop of its national tour, the Pop Land carnival on East Nanjing Road brings a playful mix of themed displays and photo-worthy installations to the pedestrian street. Visitors can wander through and explore the pop-up attractions along the way.

An array of interactive games, including target shooting and golden-coin fishing, will add to the fun, with prizes ranging from Labubu corn- and shrimp-shaped cushions to plush buckets, PVC keychains, and tin badges.

A Pop Bakery will serve up a dozen desserts and ice creams at the entrance of the carnival. Visitors can choose from Crybaby cookies, The Monsters 10th-anniversary lollipops, Molly 20th-anniversary dorayaki, and more.
