Altynken Limited Liability Company (Altynken LLC) is an environmentally responsible, integrated international Chinese-Kyrgyz joint venture engaged in gold exploration, mining, mineral processing, metallurgical treatment, refining, and sales. The company was established on April 5, 2006, and is located in Orlovka, Kemin district, Chuy region, Kyrgyz Republic. The Chinese and Kyrgyz shareholders hold 60 percent and 40 percent equity interests, respectively.

Zijin Mining Group of China
Zijin Mining Group Co Ltd holds a 60 percent equity interest in the company. It is a large multinational mining group principally engaged in the exploration and development of mineral resources worldwide and is listed on both the Shanghai Stock Exchange (A shares: 601899.SH) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (H shares: 2899.HK). It currently operates more than 30 major mining assets across 17 provinces and regions in China and 17 countries overseas. The group's overseas mineral resources and reserves, production, profits and workforce all exceed those of its domestic operations. It ranks first in China for mined copper, gold and zinc production, and fourth, fifth and fourth worldwide, respectively.
In the Forbes Global 2000 2025, which ranks listed companies on the basis of multiple indicators including revenue, profit, assets and market capitalization, Zijin Mining ranked first among gold companies worldwide and fourth among global metals mining companies. Among metals mining companies included in the Fortune Global 500, Zijin Mining ranked first worldwide in terms of return on equity and fourth in terms of profit. The company's total market capitalization at one point exceeded 1 trillion yuan ($148.8 billion), placing it 13th among A-share listed companies and making it the world's second-largest mining company by market capitalization.

Kyrgyzaltyn Open Joint Stock Company
Kyrgyzaltyn Open Joint Stock Company holds a 40 percent equity interest in the company. It is a wholly state-owned enterprise of the Kyrgyz Republic, established on Oct 15, 1992, and specializing in the development and utilization of mineral resources, supporting the production and operations of existing mining enterprises and promoting the development of new mineral resources. Together with its partners, Kyrgyzaltyn is currently involved in operations accounting for more than 80 percent of Kyrgyzstan's gold production. Its output value represents approximately 10 percent of the Kyrgyz Republic's GDP, 35 percent of industrial production and 60 percent of exports. The Kyrgyz Republic ranks third among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries in terms of gold production.
I. Mineral resources, reserves and production capacity
The company's Taldybulak Levoberezhny Gold Mine (the "Levoberezhny Mine") ranks third in the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of gold reserves, with 77 tons of contained gold. The mine has a design capacity of 2,500 tons per day and a mine life of 19 years.
II. Production, operations and financial performance
Approximately $259 million was invested in the construction and development of the project, including a subsequent investment of $12.89 million in a new shaft. The project was completed and commenced full-scale commercial production on July 29, 2015. It is currently the third-largest mining project in the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of economic contribution.
As of the end of June 2026, the company had produced a total of 36,820.75 kg of gold, 25,377.57 kg of silver and 9,314.03 tons of copper, generating cumulative sales revenue of $2.37 billion and total profit of $781 million.
III. Tax, dividend and social contributions
As of the end of June 2026, the company had paid a total of $573 million in taxes and other statutory charges, distributed $209 million in dividends to the Kyrgyz shareholder and made $1.52 billion in social contributions. In addition, the company had contributed $51.4905 million to the Kemin Development Fund and made donations totaling $52.0244 million.
IV. Organizational structure and workforce
The company's governance structure comprises the general meeting of shareholders, the board of directors, the supervisory board and a joint executive body, with 12 internal departments.
As of the end of June 2026, the company employed a total workforce of 926, comprising 58 Chinese employees, 2 Russian employees and 866 Kyrgyz employees, representing a workforce localization rate of 93.7 percent. The company continues to increase the income levels of its local employees through regular company-wide salary adjustments and the introduction of management allowances, key-position allowances and foreign-language allowances. It has created a significant number of employment opportunities for local communities and has played an important role in promoting social stability.
V. Social responsibility, health, safety and environmental protection
Guided by the philosophy of "Creating value, growing together," the company adheres to the principles of "Life first, environmental protection first, green and low-carbon development." It regards health, safety and environmental protection (HSE) as fundamental to its operations, has established a high-standard management system in accordance with local laws and regulations, and engages independent third-party organizations to conduct monitoring, testing and oversight.

Over the years, the company has put into practice the principle that "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and pursued its mission of "Providing low-carbon mineral resources for a better life for humanity." It has continuously enhanced its environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework, implemented a sustainable development strategy, developed an action plan for achieving the dual-carbon goals, and continued to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
At the same time, the company has further advanced green mine development, promoting the coordinated development of mineral resources and protection of the ecological environment. It has achieved a wastewater recycling rate of 100 percent and 100 percent green coverage of all areas suitable for landscaping. As of the end of June 2026, the company had invested a cumulative total of $642,800 in dedicated ecological restoration programs, restored approximately 90,700 square meters of vegetation and planted approximately 98,074 trees and flowering plants, thereby strengthening the ecological foundations of its green mining operations.
The company remains committed to its core value of "Creating value, growing together." It fulfills its tax obligations in accordance with the law, makes timely contributions to the Kemin Development Fund and places particular emphasis on employment opportunities for local communities. The company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kemin District Administration on recruitment and professional development, under which more than 500 skilled professionals have been trained. Its operations have also generated more than 2,000 employment opportunities in related industries, while maintaining a workforce localization rate of 93.7 percent.
The company procures 66.94 percent of its materials locally, thereby contributing to local economic development.
