For Yihai Kerry Arawana, Shanghai's market-oriented, law-based and international business environment has provided a solid foundation for long-term growth.

In this episode, Tu Changming, senior director of Yihai Kerry Arawana, says the company has truly felt the"warmth" of Shanghai's business services. As one of the earliest foreign-invested enterprises to enter China's grain and oil refining and packaged food sector, Yihai Kerry Arawana began investing in China in the late 1980s. Its accumulated investment has exceeded 100 billion yuan, with more than 50 billion yuan of that spent in the past five years.

Tu says Shanghai's support is precise and practical. The Shanghai Communications Administration's "Five-Heart" service initiative has helped improve transparency, speed and responsiveness in communications services, supporting global supply-chain coordination, cross-border video meetings and real-time data transmission. Shanghai tax authorities also provided timely guidance after preferential stamp duty policies for offshore trade were introduced.

Shanghai's talent pool and forward-looking market insight further encouraged the company to set up its headquarters and global R&D center here. With more than 300 researchers and over 100 new patents and intellectual property achievements each year, Yihai Kerry Arawana is using innovation to support the Healthy China vision.
