International UWA explores UHD audio-visual collaboration in Jing'an
The UHD World Association (UWA) hosted an international exchange event on June 22 at "Audio-Visual Realm · π Space" in Jing'an district during the 31st Shanghai TV Festival. The event brought together more than 30 industry leaders from nearly 20 companies spanning content production, distribution, media platforms, and technology development.
Attendees explored the latest advances in HDR Vivid and Audio Vivid technologies, immersive formats that are reshaping home entertainment, in-vehicle displays, and cinematic experiences. The venue, developed by Daning Group, covers 7,400 square meters and serves as an innovation hub for ultra-HD content creation, AI applications, and industry collaboration.
A key highlight was the UWA Shanghai Ecological Cooperation Center, a 300 sq m facility featuring large-scale audio-visual experience zones, home theater environments, automotive display showcases, and a digital therapy area. The center provides a full-chain technology validation system that bridges R&D, testing, and commercialization.
