Hongkou rolls out upgraded 'Elite 100' talent program
Shanghai's Hongkou district has unveiled its revised Elite 100 Youth Talent Development Program to build a full-cycle support system for young innovators and entrepreneurs targeting local key and future industries.
Structured around four core initiatives — the First Stop, Future, Excellent Talent and Partner Plans — the program selects roughly 50 outstanding applicants yearly aged 40 or younger, granting one-off financial subsidies, exclusive talent services and dedicated development platforms. Each plan serves distinct groups: top graduate recruits, startup founders, industry contributors to North Bund growth, and professionals bringing in high-end projects and talent respectively.
Standout candidates like competition winners and postdoctoral researchers enjoy fast-track qualification without full reviews. Successful enrollees gain access to service cards, financing matching, entrepreneurship training and themed industry forums.
