Explore art, science and fun at Huangpu's kids-friendly sites

As International Children's Day approaches, Huangpu district has rolled out a list of fun spots for kids. These venues blend art, culture, science and outdoor activities for wonderful family outings.

The Shanghai Children's Art Theatre hosts a creative arts season with shows, workshops and guided tours until June 30. The Shanghai Submarine Exhibition Hall displays China's independently developed retired submarine for naval science education. China's only tunnel-themed museum offers immersive interactive experiences.

There are also free children's sports parks, riverside squares and a mall rooftop playground, all ideal for kids to play and relax.
