Shanghai Gifts experience store debuts at West Bund Central
Shanghai Gifts opened its new themed experience shop at Xuhui district's West Bund Central on May 19, rolling out a fresh cultural retail idea for the city's iconic souvenir brand.
Housed within Tingdeco Gift Shop, the venue works as a walk-in urban culture archive split into three zones: an art gallery, modern gift boutique and Shanghai-style tea-coffee lounge, blending shopping with immersive local culture.
As Shanghai's key cultural tourism brand, Shanghai Gifts owns over 1,100 certified goods, with physical shops across landmark spots plus three district stores and a unifying online mini-program for official gift purchases. This new themed format focuses on unique local themes and interactive layouts to let guests better engage with Shanghai's heritage.
For its launch, the shop unveiled the "Tea in Shanghai" range of over 20 Shanghai-blended teas and traditional afternoon tea sets, matched with local snacks like amber walnuts and classic biscuits.
