China-made A320 flight simulator wins approval from Australian flight school

A China-made Airbus A320 flight simulator developed by Zhongfang Intelligent Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd in Shanghai's Songjiang district has been delivered to an Australian Part 141 flight training school, marking growing overseas recognition of Chinese aviation simulation technology.

The CNFSimulator.A320 unit is a professional-grade device tailored for A320 training. According to Wu Keting, the company's R&D division manager, the simulator meets high international standards, with upgraded flight-control software, improved realism, and hardware enhancements that bring system fidelity, cockpit feel, and training quality closer to real-world experience.

The software now includes custom training modules for abnormal scenarios, while hardware enhancements such as advanced instrument lighting and improved control feedback increase pilot engagement. These upgrades reflect the designers' efforts to meet the rigorous requirements of global flight training institutions.

This is not the company's first export delivery, but the Australian contract carries special significance. Before placing the order, the overseas customer conducted on-site evaluations and joined pilots in multiple rounds of rigorous testing, ultimately selecting the Chinese simulator for its facility.

The simulator was shipped in modular form by sea, with core components disassembled into packed units. The manufacturer's engineering team coordinated the logistics and completed full assembly and calibration in just 10 days — far faster than the industry norm of three weeks to a month.

The school will continue to receive ongoing remote technical support from the company. Wu said the client's satisfaction has strengthened the team's confidence and highlights growing trust in Chinese simulation products abroad.
