Shanghai's Fengxian district officially launched the "Business Partnership Program" on May 7 at 2026 China Perfume and Cosmetics Brands Development Conference to accelerate the development of its Oriental Beauty Valley into a world-class cosmetics industry cluster, promoting high-quality growth of the cosmetics sector.

The program, spearheaded by the Market Supervision Administration of Fengxian District, aligns with Shanghai's latest action plan to optimize the business environment. It leverages the strengths of the Oriental Beauty Valley's cosmetics and health industry cluster, uniting key enterprises, supply chain partners, and testing institutions to form the Oriental Beauty Valley Business Partner Industrial Ecosystem Alliance. This collaboration between the government and enterprises seeks to create a new blueprint for industry development.

The Business Partnership Program features a "1+3+N" service system: one platform (the Oriental Beauty Valley Business Partner Industrial Ecosystem Alliance), three mechanisms (government-enterprise roundtable, industrial chain liaison officers, and business partner open days), and numerous initiatives to empower the industry.

Five key tasks are outlined, including optimizing the industrial ecosystem, enhancing innovation, deepening supply chain integration, focusing on brand cultivation, and strengthening regional collaboration. These efforts aim to support Oriental Beauty Valley's cosmetics brands in expanding globally, showcasing the unique charm of Chinese beauty products.

Through the collective strength of its partners, the program is set to write a new chapter in the thriving cosmetics industry, highlighting the unique Eastern allure of China's beauty sector.
