Shanghai to launch nation's first 'cruise to nowhere' voyage on June 6

Shanghai is set to launch China's first "cruise to nowhere" voyage on June 6 aboard the Adora Magic City, a large-scale domestic cruise ship.

Unlike traditional cruises that involve long journeys and multiple ports of call, this innovative cruise offers a three-day, two-night journey without any stops, providing passengers with a visa-free, hassle-free vacation at sea.

Designed specifically for weekend getaways, the Adora Magic City transforms into a floating entertainment island, presenting a fresh way for city dwellers to relax. Departing from and returning to Shanghai, the cruise sails leisurely within designated waters, eliminating the need for complex travel preparations.

The ship is like a "floating town" offering a wide variety of activities centered around five key themes: entertainment, parties, relaxation, sports, and cuisine. Daytime activities include pop concerts, stand-up comedy, magic shows, and themed performances, while evening activities feature international DJs, live bands, and themed parties. Sports enthusiasts can take part in basketball games, team challenges, high ropes courses, and water slides, creating a lively vacation atmosphere.
