13.7b yuan Jinshan 'super factory' nears completion

Shanghai Zhaomin New Materials Technology Co Ltd's new project in Zhujing Industrial Zone aims to produce 800 million new energy vehicle components and high-precision plastic parts annually. Construction has entered the final stages of interior decoration and exterior landscaping.

The facility will focus on precision injection-molded parts and advanced molds, supporting the domestic new energy vehicle supply chain and setting a benchmark for modern intelligent factories. The main building facades are nearly complete, and the exterior presents a renewed, modern look.

Inside, the main framework and floors are finished, with workers performing high-altitude installation, panel calibration, and polishing under strict safety protocols. Construction is proceeding steadily, in an organized and efficient manner.

Covering 164 mu (10.9 hectares) with a total investment of 1.37 billion yuan ($201 million), the project applies high industry standards. Three-dimensional pipeline planning integrates industrial, electromechanical, and fire protection systems, optimizing space, improving order, and reducing maintenance complexity.

Project manager Lu Liben said the layout enhances operational safety and efficiency. The company aims to complete construction by the third quarter of 2026 and reach full production by 2029, with an expected annual output value of 2.77 billion yuan.
