Changning district in Shanghai has launched the seventh edition of Shanghai Shopping Festival to unleash consumer potential.

According to the Consumer Market Big Data Laboratory (Shanghai), the district's market flourished from April 30 to May 4, with both major city-level commercial zones achieving double-digit growth. The Zhongshan Park commercial area saw a 13.74 percent increase year-on-year, while the Hongqiao-Gubei area experienced a 16.93 percent rise in consumer spending.

Changning leveraged its dual IP strategy of "flower economy and sports fever," seamlessly connecting park landscapes, commercial zones, sporting events, and citizen leisure activities. This synergy resulted in a multiplier effect, attracting visitors through scenery, gathering crowds through events, and increasing spending in commercial zones.
