Music fountain set to debut at TOP Central Park

TOP Central Park in Shanghai's Putuo district will unveil its new music fountain during the May Day holiday. Situated at the heart of the park's lake area, the fountain is currently undergoing system testing and is slated for a trial run starting May 1.

The music fountain, titled "Blossoms on the Sea", combines water with projections, lasers, beam lights, and a surround sound system, creating an immersive sensory experience.

As a new high-tech emblem of the district's Taopu Smart City and a regional landmark, the fountain not only enriches nighttime recreational offerings but also brings a futuristic touch to the park.

Located in a spacious water area at the park's center, the fountain spans approximately 6,000 square meters and connects to surrounding steps and open spaces, accommodating 500 to 800 spectators. The encircling lakeside pathways form a panoramic viewing route. The lakeside seating offers an unobstructed viewing experience.

The music fountain will be integrated with nearby plazas and park entrances, serving as a central gathering spot. It will host performances and provide space for leisure, socializing, and public events.

During the May Day holiday, the music fountain will be in trial operation, with more design highlights and program details to be revealed soon.
