Wisdom bay science and art life season kicks off in Baoshan

The Wisdom Bay Science & Art Life Season kicked off on April 17 at the Wisdom Bay Science and Technology Park in Baoshan district, offering a month-long celebration of culture, creativity and community fun through May 18.

The newly opened Intangible Cultural Heritage Life Center in Building 19 has become a highlight, drawing families with its live craftsmanship demonstrations and hands-on workshops. "Traditional embroidery and wood carving feel so alive when you watch the masters at work," said Wang, a resident visiting with her husband and granddaughter.

The fluorescent day-and-night market at Mermaid Square transforms the park after dark with lighted installations, live music and creative stalls. A specialty car market at P2 Cultural Square and a car boot sale at P5 Future Square have also drawn enthusiasts and bargain hunters.

For those seeking quiet leisure, Wisdom Bay Art Museum presents an exhibition of retro Shanghai-style art, featuring retro-style works with modern touches. A city roaming photography exhibition captures urban life through images and installations.

Throughout the month, the park will also host anime-themed events, live concerts, charity markets and interactive activities.
