According to the Fengxian Meteorological Bureau, the district experienced a warmer-than-usual winter with more sunshine and less rainfall than average. These conditions, combined with occasional cold spells and dry weather, affected the dormancy and budding of yellow peaches.
Experts predicted that the first peach blossoms in Fengxian would appear between March 21 and 25 — slightly earlier than in 2025 and 2024, but similar to 2023. This year's bloom, however, was slightly later than during the 2020-22 seasons.

Given the variable spring weather, experts advised monitoring for high temperatures (≥ 25°C) and dry conditions during the bloom period. They also warned that low temperatures (≤ 4°C) in March and April could affect flowering and fruit setting. Farmers were advised to take preventive measures, such as spraying water, to extend the bloom period and improve fruit setting.
The peach orchards are now in full bloom, creating a stunning pink landscape. It is the ideal time to visit and experience the beauty of Fengxian's peach blossoms.
