Jinshan accelerates low-altitude economy with AutoFlight test flight

Shanghai's Jinshan district convened an enterprise exchange meeting as part of the 2026 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference on March 14, focusing on the low-altitude economy. District mayor of Jinshan Yuan Gang engaged with representatives from four industry chain companies.

AutoFlight said V2000CG CarryAll, classified as a 2-metric-ton eVTOL, is the first of its kind to receive type, production and airworthiness certifications from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The company anticipates conducting a cross-sea logistics verification test flight in Jinshan in the near future.

At the meeting, officials and company representatives discussed safety, operations and commercial deployment for land-to-island transportation routes. Jinshan said it would address the needs of enterprises by enhancing the quality of business services, providing robust policy support and facilitating coordinated planning.

Furthermore, the district said it will continue to improve its infrastructure, supply chain support and one-stop services for low-altitude enterprises, while building a distinctive industrial cluster and opening more practical application scenarios for the sector.

According to information available on AutoFlight's website, CarryAll has a maximum takeoff weight of 2,000 kilograms, a payload capacity of 400 kg and a range of 250 kilometers, highlighting its potential applications in cargo and logistics operations.
