Prada Rong Zhai hosts Red Horse Lantern Festival Fair in Jing'an

The iconic Prada Rong Zhai, a historic mansion in Shanghai's Jing'an district, has transformed into a vibrant spring garden with the launch of the Prada Red Horse Lantern Festival Fair.

The event, which runs until March 3, offers visitors a unique blend of traditional festivities and contemporary art experiences. Nestled in the West Nanjing Road business circle, the fair transforms the heritage villa into a spring garden, featuring lantern viewing, garden tours, and creative market experiences for visitors to ring in the new year.

Centered on Prada's iconic triangle fire horse motif, the fair celebrates the 2026 Fire Horse Year — a rare occurrence every 60 years in the Chinese lunar calendar — symbolizing vitality, courage, and adventure, which resonate with Prada's brand spirit. Visitors can guess lantern riddles, pick New Year flowers, take photos with the triangular red horse installations, and taste exclusive festive delicacies crafted by Mi Shang PRADA Rong Zhai restaurant, which reinterprets Eastern flavors with modern culinary techniques.

The fair features a range of traditional and modern activities, from sugar painting to themed interactive games. Open daily from 5 pm to 10 pm, it is only accessible by reservation via the Prada Rong Zhai mini-program, located at No 186 North Shaanxi Road, Jing'an district.
