Shanghai's Jinshan district is rolling out immersive Spring Festival experiences that combine festive hospitality, shopping events, and seasonal flower viewing, offering practical holiday options for families and overseas visitors seeking authentic Chinese New Year traditions.

A recent livestream highlighted three key venues — Canopy by Hilton Shanghai Binfenli, Aegean Place Binfenli, and Huakai Haishang Ecological Park — providing details on routes, benefits, and travel tips to help visitors plan efficiently during the peak holiday period.

At Canopy by Hilton Shanghai Binfenli, Spring Festival markets open on Chinese New Year's Eve afternoon, featuring shadow puppetry, lacquer fan crafting, and traditional sachet making. Daily intangible cultural heritage rubbing activities invite guests to create festive "fu" characters, while reunion dinner set menus and themed afternoon tea add seasonal flair.

Huakai Haishang Ecological Park enters its peak plum blossom season, featuring more than 30,000 trees across 60 varieties. Special offers include discounted tickets for visitors born in the Year of the Horse and free admission for eligible guests during the festival. Interactive activities such as treasure hunts and blossom-themed games enhance the seasonal experience.
