China Mobile International Limited (CMI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Mobile, has been making significant advancements to provide better services to meet the growing demand in the international telecommunications market since its establishment in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China in December 2010. In 2017, CMI set up a representative office in Indonesia, followed by the establishment of its Indonesian subsidiary in February 2019. Located at Jakarta's central business district, CMI Indonesia subsidiary currently has a professional team of over 40 individuals. Dedicated to delivering high-quality services, including network connectivity, cloud solutions, IoT, ICT enterprise solutions, CMI Indonesia subsidiary aims to be the bridge between China and Indonesia. On one hand, CMI provides service to Chinese companies conducting business and investment in Indonesia; on the other hand, CMI, together with its powerful ecosystem and partners, bring the cutting-edge technologies to Indonesia market. Moreover, CMI is also actively involved in various digital projects, including the "Two Countries, Twin Parks" initiative between China and Indonesia, as well as SANY’s overseas Smart Lighthouse Factory. In September 2023, the 2023 China Mobile Southeast Asia Regional Cooperation Conference was held in Jakarta, bringing together more than 300 attendees. During the event, China Mobile, together with partners from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and other countries, jointly issued the "Southeast Asian Digital Economy Development Cooperation Initiative". In addition, CMI signed strategic cooperation memorandums with China-ASEAN Information Port, PT Indosat Tbk and Maxis Malaysia to strengthen cooperation with partners in various fields.
Pioneering AI innovation through bilateral cooperation
During the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in July 2024, China Mobile announced a groundbreaking partnership with Sinar Mas Group to establish a joint Artificial Intelligence (AI) laboratory. It will focus on innovative multinational corporate models, talent development, and production-research collaboration by leveraging China Mobile's "Jiutian" AI model and its core technologies. This partnership signifies a new chapter in the expanding technological collaboration between China and Indonesia, allowing both parties to benefit from shared expertise and innovation in the AI sector. Through this partnership, CMI will continue to contribute to Indonesia's digital transformation and drive local economic growth.

Social responsibility and community engagement
CMI is also actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by giving back to local communities. As a member of the China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, CMI Indonesia subsidiary participates in various initiatives organized by the Chinese Embassy and local chambers of commerce.
