COSL entered the Indonesian oilfield service market in 2002 and registered PT. COSL INDO in 2005 in Jakarta. After nearly 20 years of development, PT. COSL INDO has secured business qualifications in drilling, mud, cementing, electrical surveying, directional drilling, workover, production stimulation, exploration and other business qualifications, and is committed to providing customers with full life cycle, integrated oilfield services, living up to the corporate philosophy of "always do better".
As a country along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Indonesia is a core area for Chinese enterprises to implement the Belt and Road Initiative and jointly build and share development results. As an overseas institution of a State-owned enterprise, PT. COSL INDO actively implements the Belt and Road Initiative. With its cost-effective and high-quality technical service advantages, it provided service operations for more than half of the offshore oil fields in Indonesia, and has simultaneously maintained support for barges and workover rigs. At the 47th Indonesia IPA Petroleum Exhibition, Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif made a special visit to the exhibition booth of PT. Equipment sector: The number of large equipment, such as offshore drilling rigs, accounts for 50% of Indonesia's market share. PT. COSL INDO also maintains support for large equipment business services, such as barges, workover rigs and life support platforms, and has become the main force in Indonesia's offshore oil and gas equipment services. In 2022, the COSL222 support barge was selected to participate in the Indonesian maritime anti-terrorism exercise, which reflects that COSL's brand image has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and recognized by the local government and people.
Technology sector: The service scope covers major large oil and gas fields in Indonesia's offshore and onshore areas. Self-developed high-end technologies, such as the standard "Xuanji" rotary steering system and geological steering tools, have been exported abroad, actively contributing to Indonesia's Oil and Gas 4.0 era. Currently, PT. COSL INDO is oriented to customer needs, actively deploying integrated drilling and completion, production stimulation, well workover, and abandonment businesses, and strives to provide customers with comprehensive technical solutions for the entire oil field life cycle.
2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative. PT.
