In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Xi’an Eurasia University has launched five research institutes aimed at integrating industry, education, and scientific research. This strategic initiative underscores the university’s commitment to applied transformation and its distinct role as a private higher education institution.
The newly established institutes are the Advanced Research Institute, Future Industry and Education Research Institute, New Business Industry Research Institute, New Media Industry Research Institute, and New Service Industry Research Institute. These platforms translate national policies on industry-education integration into actionable practices within the university.
The Advanced Research Institute serves as a strategic think tank for regional development, focusing on urban governance and public welfare. The Future Industry and Education Research Institute analyzes industrial trends and innovates educational models. The other three institutes target specific sectors: retail innovation, AI media applications, and digital technology services.

These institutes operate under a dean responsibility system with a “doctor-led teacher-student team” model, emphasizing real-world project involvement. Performance metrics prioritize industrial service outcomes and transformative teaching methods. Research projects follow an innovation chain approach, aiming to solve practical challenges and convert findings into solutions.
With these new institutes, alongside existing research centers and studios, the university has established a comprehensive innovation matrix that integrates talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. This matrix supports regional development priorities and addresses industrial demands in Shaanxi province and Xi’an.
By embedding these institutes into its framework, Xi’an Eurasia University expands its reform efforts from talent training to scientific research and social service. The university shifts from merely supplying graduates to actively collaborating with enterprises to solve real-world problems, embodying the principles of an entrepreneurial and agile fourth-generation university.

This initiative represents a significant step in the university’s ongoing mission to align with national policies and local industrial needs, focusing on delivering high-quality projects and fostering sustainable development paths for private universities.
