Five companies from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) have made the list of the "Top 10 Competitiveness Companies in the Optical Communications of China & Global Market (2025)". This recognition highlights their leadership in optical fiber, cable, transmission, and network access equipment.

CICT was recognized as one of the "Top 10 Most Competitive Chinese Optical Communications Enterprises" and "Top 10 Most Brand-Competitive Chinese Optical Communications Enterprises". FiberHome excelled in both global and Chinese rankings for optical fiber, cable, and transmission equipment. YOFC ranked second in the "Global Competitive Optical Fiber and Cable Enterprises" category and topped the Chinese list.

Accelink claimed the top spot as the "Most Competitive Chinese Optical Devices and Auxiliary Equipment Enterprise" and was also recognized among the "Global Top 10 Most Competitive Optical Device Enterprises". HG Genuine was also listed in both the "Global Top 10 Most Competitive Optical Device Enterprises" and the "Top 10 Most Competitive Chinese Optical Devices and Auxiliary Equipment Enterprises".

This evaluation is jointly organized by the Optical Communications Committee of the China Institute of Communications and the Asia-Pacific Optical Communications Committee, marking its 19th edition. The assessment considers brand strength, scale, market performance, product quality, and growth, making it a highly authoritative benchmark in the industry.

OVC is home to 16,000 optoelectronic information companies, exporting products to over 100 countries. Its innovation and industrial chains in the optoelectronic information sector are continuously improving, demonstrating strong international competitiveness.
