Wuhan Kaide Optics Valley Intercity Hotel in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) has recently started its official operation.
This is the first branch of the Intercity Hotel in Central China's Hubei province. Featuring the color style of black, white, gray, and chestnut, the hotel boasts a silent, comforting, and simplistic heaven.
The hotel has 216 highly intelligent guest rooms and 144 double rooms. The building is equipped with gyms, meeting conferences, minibars, self-service laundry rooms, and other communal spaces with multiple functions. Since its trial run one year ago, the hotel has been applauded for its buffet combining German and Wuhan unique cuisines.

The Intercity Hotel now belongs to the Huazhu Group Co, and according to Jin Hui, CEO of the group, the new-type mid- and high-end hotel has vast market potential as an ideal alternative to traditional luxury hotels. "Wuhan is a pivotal hub in terms of its location, economic development, population, and higher education, we will target the city as one of our key markets," said Jin.
So far, OVC has been home to a batch of internationally influential hotel brands, including Hilton and Marriott.
