Optics Valley boasts 3 firms on top 100 internet enterprise list

The 2023 China Internet Enterprise Comprehensive Strength Index Conference was recently held in Xiamen, Fujian province. The top 100 internet enterprises in China based on various indicators such as business performance, innovation capability, growth potential, and influence were announced at the event.
Three companies from Hubei province made the list: Douyu TV, Hubei Century Network Tech, and Wuhan Fulu Network Tech. All three companies are located in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC).
Douyu TV is one of the most influential livestreaming platforms in China, with 50.3 million monthly active users on mobile devices in the second quarter of 2023 and owning 3,555 patents. The Douyu International Live Video Streaming Festival it hosts has become a prominent cultural event in the field of online livestreaming. It has been ranked among the top 100 internet companies in China for the past seven years.
This is the sixth time Hubei Century Network Tech has been listed among the top 100 Chinese internet enterprises. In the first three quarters of 2023, the company recorded 179 million yuan ($24.93 million) in net profit attributable to the parent company.

Wuhan Fulu Network Tech, established in 2009, focuses on meeting the digital consumption needs of internet payment users and connecting numerous digital goods and services providers to consumer scenarios. It offers various value-added services to its partners and provides consumers with a more diverse, convenient, and high-quality range of digital products. In the first half of 2023, gross merchandise was valued at 8.9 billion yuan.
