The agreement for the Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE)'s Central China base project was inked at the 13th China (Wuhan) Finance Expo.
BSE will lay out its Central China base in the Optics Valley Sci-tech Building in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), which is a core construction area of Wuhan New City.
The Hubei Provincial Local Financial Supervision Bureau, the Hubei Branch of China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the administrative committee of OVC will work with BSE to build and manage the new base, which is designed to mainly serve Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi provinces.
The base is expected to facilitate innovation-driven small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) cultivation work and support companies in financing, conducting transactions, mergers and acquisitions through exchange and with the help of the National Equities Exchange and Quotations.
