A total of 4,000 national flags can be seen hanging on nine roads and streets in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as OVC, or Optics Valley of China) to mark the upcoming National Day holiday in the first week of October.

The material used for flags this year is said to be thicker and more wind-resistant.
