This autumn, four new primary and secondary schools in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) begin enrolling students. They offer a total of 7,860 more enrollment slots for the valley (including 4,860 for primary school students and 3,000 for middle school students).

In addition, the expansion of OVC's three existing primary schools has also been completed, adding 2,520 new enrollment slots.

In the new semester, about 15,000 children in the valley will enroll in the primary school, ranking first in Wuhan.

The Optics Valley Yujia Mountain School has a total construction area of 51,000 square meters, including a five-floor teaching building and a two-floor comprehensive building. The primary section has 36 classes, while the middle section has 24 classes.

The classrooms are tidy and bright, equipped with air-conditioners, storage cabinets, and smart blackboards.
