Tencent Group Co, the Chinese internet giant, released a plan on July 8 to hold the 2021 Tencent Digital Ecosystem Summit on August 18-19 at China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC), Wuhan. 

The summit is considered to be a feast of tech that will have the highest standards, the largest scale and the widest coverage of all such meetings Tencent has ever held. It consists of one major summit, one technical forum, and more than 40 themed meetings. In addition, the summit will feature a huge intelligent devices experience exhibition area. 

The major summit on Aug 18 will reportedly focus on the way that digital technologies will be integrated into the real economy in the future. Tencent will work with its business partners and clients to demonstrate its latest moves.

Tencent's prospects on digitalization in specific fields will be introduced during the themed meetings, including future cities, smart government services, finance, retailing, medical care, education and tourism. 

The technical forum on Aug 19 is tailored especially for technicians and technology-related decision makers. Top experts at Tencent will interpret the hottest digital technologies, such as AI, Cloud Native, radios and videos and data security.

Enterprises in the digital industry have sprung up and prospered in Wuhan. OVC is now seeking to attract more high-tech corporations and high-end talents to join in its endeavor, Tencent included.
