Optics Valley ranks seventh among top 100 advanced manufacturing parks

East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) in Wuhan, the capital city of Central China's Hubei province, ranked seventh among the top 100 advanced manufacturing parks in the country, according to a list released on June 16 by the CCID Consulting Research Center of the Intelligent Equipment Industry.
The rankings are based on research results following the analysis and evaluation of 218 national economic development zones and 168 national high-tech zones in the country.
The top three parks among the 100 advanced manufacturing parks are Beijing's Zhongguancun Science Park, Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park and Shanghai Zhangjiang High-Tech Park.
Optics Valley ranked seventh on the list, while another development zone in Wuhan – Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone – ranked 34th.
CCID Consulting Research Center of the Intelligent Equipment Industry evaluated the parks by looking at their economic strength, innovation potential, integration capabilities, industrial cohesion and green development.
