Six top health projects sign up to settle in Optics Valley

Six academician-led health industry projects signed up to settle in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone -- also known as Optics Valley of China in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province -- during the ongoing 2nd World Health Expo.

The World Health Expo, which opened in Wuhan on Nov 11, has attracted some 13,000 guests from 34 countries and regions. More than 1,200 exhibitors, including over 30 Optics Valley's resident firms, are attending the expo and showcasing their new products.

Among the 27 health industry projects signed at the expo, six academician-led projects were signed up to settle in Optics Valley, focusing on the technology frontiers of health industry.

This year's expo has set up 12 venues with exhibition area of 140,000 square meters, exploring different areas.

It is the largest health expo being hosted by Wuhan since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic earlier this year and will run to Nov 14.
