The First International Technology Transfer & Innovation Connecting Conference will open on Nov 6 in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone -- also known as Optics Valley of China -- in Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei province.

The event, which is sponsored by the zone's management committee, aims to promote cooperation and exchanges between local Chinese and international innovation resources and Optics Valley's innovation resources -- as well as to attract high-quality people and projects from overseas to learn about and to settle in Optics Valley.

In addition to the offline opening ceremony, a series of online roadshows will be also staged during the event.

The roadshows are mainly being staged on five venues for the biomedicines industry, optoelectronics information industry, intelligent industry, environmental protection and new energy industry and one for international Optics Valley projects.
