Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum held in Optics Valley

The 2020 Yabuli China Entrepreneurs Forum Wuhan Special Summit met with major success when it was held on Aug 11-12 in East Lake High-tech Development Zone -- also known as Optics Valley of China -- in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, according to zone officials.
The event had as its theme "gather strength and boost economic development" and was the first special summit held by the entrepreneurs forum in nearly 20 years, attracting the participation of officials at all levels and some 100 directors, entrepreneurs and economists.
At the summit, according to zone officials, the participants suggested a number of initiatives and discussed taking joint action.

They undertook to prioritize helping Hubei businesses and helping the economic recovery of Hubei and Wuhan. They said they would promote the development of the domestic market through investment, construction and strategic alliances, among other things.
At the same time, eight projects with investment of 6.5 billion yuan ($937.3 million) were signed at the summit and these will settle in Optics Valley, officials said. They promoted the zone to attract more investment at a subsequent forum held after the main session of the summit.
