Chongqing Bonded Port Development and Management Group Co and Deutsche Post DHL Group signed a strategic memorandum of understanding at the 2026 Chongqing Sourcing Fair held on Oct 20.

The MoU outlines a comprehensive partnership that spans logistics channels, services, industry collaboration, and digital and sustainable development, involving overseas warehousing, destination delivery, and warehouse network planning and optimization.

The partnership will also establish a cross-border logistics platform and a cross-border supply chain service center, offering Chongqing foreign trade enterprises integrated logistics solutions and trade compliance consulting.

Focusing on Chongqing's key industries — such as automotive and motorcycle vehicles and parts, general machinery, and biopharmaceuticals — the partnership will enhance vertical industry supply chain collaboration.

This will streamline the process from domestic bonded warehousing to cross-border trunk transportation and overseas warehouse fulfillment and distribution.

The two parties will also explore cooperation in digital and sustainable development, supporting the construction of an integrated air, sea, and rail logistics hub system for Chongqing Bonded Port.

DHL Group, a global leader in logistics services, operates in over 220 countries and regions, achieving a revenue of approximately 82.9 billion euros ($92.9 billion) in 2025. Its core services include express delivery, global freight, supply chain management, and e-commerce logistics.
