China Unidata launched the first phase of its "China Unidata Land-Sea W-BRIDGE" products on Aug 18 in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, introducing six products to boost the development of the city's New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
Xu Zengtang, vice-president of China Unidata, pointed out emerging challenges as the corridor expands, including cross-regional data connectivity barriers, data security concerns, and insufficient digital integration across industries.
The W-BRIDGE products are designed to connect with national-level platforms for data, standards, and trust capabilities, integrating with local and market entities to transform these national capabilities into accessible, replicable, and practical services, Xu said.
The six major products are as follows:
Intelligent Integration Platform: This platform aggregates data from "13+2" regions and eight vertical industries, offering standardized, one-stop, and integrated services.
Trusted Data Space: Utilizing privacy computing and blockchain, this product secures data flow and addresses issues related to data sharing reluctance and unclear responsibilities.
Data Element Products: Comprising seven applications, including "Land-Sea Advisor" and "Land-Sea Connect", these products cover trade data from over 200 countries and 450 core ports.
Smart Cold Chain Service Platform: This platform integrates trade, logistics, warehousing, and financial resources to build an efficient, reliable cold chain network.
Automotive Export Service Platform: This platform spans over 200 ports and 80 shipping companies, achieving a 15 percent cost reduction, 30 percent faster customs clearance, and a 20 percent improvement in operational efficiency.
Intelligent Hub Solutions: These solutions transform hubs from "cargo nodes" to "industrial organization centers" by creating capabilities in platform design, industrial empowerment, comprehensive services, and supply chain collaboration.
A laboratory focused on AI in transportation and logistics was inaugurated to address challenges in multimodal transport, port facilitation, and automotive exports.
A new initiative was also launched to develop a collaborative digital supply chain ecosystem, injecting fresh momentum into advancing the land-sea trade corridor.
