Intl motorcycle exhibition to open in Chongqing

The 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMA Motor 2026) will be held from Sept 19 to 22, 2026, in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, featuring eight indoor halls and 80,000 square meters of outdoor space.

Over 1,000 exhibitors from countries including the United States, Germany, and Pakistan will showcase their latest innovations, with more than 100 global motorcycle and electric vehicle brands presented.

CIMA Motor, a leading platform for new product launches, technological progress, and industry insights, will showcase the integration of fuel and electric motorcycles, highlighting current trends toward premium, smart, and personalized products.

The showcase will include innovations like highly diverse motorcycle fuel powertrains, advanced racing tech in mass-produced models, and complete electric two-wheeler solutions for commuting, off-road, commercial, and high-speed uses.

Key highlights include electric vehicle core components and riding gear, offering consumers insights into the latest battery technology pathways and the evolution of riding gear toward smart wearables.

The "China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum" and "Two-Wheeler Cross-Border (Video) E-commerce Special Exhibition" will facilitate international cooperation and trade, linking domestic enterprises with global procurement resources.

More than 20 countries from the Americas, Europe, and Africa have already registered buyers, with procurement needs spanning complete vehicles, parts, riding gear, and smart electric products.

Organizers will host brand test rides, slow riding competitions, and motorcycle stunt competitions, featuring 60 rare, collectible modified motorcycles and classic vintage bikes.

The event will also host a series of activities that integrate cultural tourism resources and consumption scenes into the expo's service system, creating a festival and establishing Chongqing as a hub for motorcycle culture.
